I don't want it to seem like I'm advertising or anything, so I post this with caution.. but I thought other women cyclists out there might be interested in this website, which specialises in women specific cyling gear. I have loads of trouble finding a decent range of shorts, tops, gloves etc for mountain biking in the usual outlets, and on a recent mountain biking holiday someone alerted me to this website. I thought I'd post this for anyone else who might be interested in endurance mountain bike racing: http://www.twentyfour12.com Entries for the race, which is near Plymouth, are open now, and it takes place in July. You can do it at any level: in a team with 6 people, 4 people, as a pair or individually.
